Peanut Treasure Jar
Peanut Treasure Jar
Last year before the travels, I was gifted with a glass, mason looking jar that read “Aventure Awaits”. It’s metal lid had a slot for inserting coins. I asked myself “Did I have to limit it’s contents to just coins? ” Why couldn’t I put all my finds from my travels in it? This became the inception of the “Treasure Jar”. The total, is the current amount of coins in the jar, that I have found, mostly metal detecting. Last year’s total was $3.87, which I expect to surpass, this year. This year i decided to go to a bigger container, the Peanut Jar. Okay….it’s plastic, but the exciting part is filling it with all sorts of treasures! Follow along the travels and every week we will post pictures and a list of the new items that were found. Also there is a running total of the coins. It’s going to be an amazing journey…Come along!
